Cape York Trip 2008

This blog is going to be used to track the build up of our new 200 series Landcruiser and our preparation for our actual trip from Adelaide to Cairns, up to Cape York "The Tip" and finally back home to Adelaide.

We are leaving on 26th June 2008 and returning on the 27th July 2008

More accessories

I fitted up the factory tow bar wiring kit and also ran 6mm heavy duty wiring to the rear Anderson plug directly from the auxiliary battery.

While I had the inside panelling off, I fitted up a genuine Engel socket for the fridge and also a spare 12V locking lighter type socket. I can't believe Toyota didn't fit these as standard!  These are wired direct to the auxiliary battery also.
